OG Streamer Beats

I think this game is fun. I don't mind that the gameplay copies Muse Dash as I love Muse Dash, and I've played several other rhythm games that did the same thing. I think copying is fine, that's how we get genres and styles. However... Did you guy really have to steal even the effects and hit sounds from that game? Come on, guys. I've played two other games like Muse Dash, called Ark Mobius and Sheep's Symphony, the latter is even free. And while Ark Mobius is disastrous quality, neither of them did this. Just for that, I am giving this a negative. Blatantly stealing work from others for profit is just not cool. It really shouldn't have been that much work to create these things originally. The only really good part of this game is the rhythm gameplay and well you could get a better experience playing other games like osu! or Muse Dash instead. Besides even when I performed a song poorly it seems to just give the SS rating anyway. The art might be good but there are like 6 scenes in total and the next button to go through the scenes there seems to be stuck waiting for the audio to finish so I just gave up on seeing all of them. The Q&A part after doing all of the "livestreams" of the girls is very repetitive and only for filling out a character "fact list" that is useless. The game does not have a story, there is no difficulty in terms of gameplay or making choices and it is super short (~1-1.5h to 100% achievements). I would say that this game failed both as a rhythm game (since SS rating is basically guaranteed and the song selection is very limited) and as a dating game (since choices do not seem to really matter, the girls will get max level before you even find out their favourite gifts and you are just a livestream chat member the entire time - the girl's dialogue is not even particularly aimed at you).

This was NOT play tested. The whole game is riddled with issues that are apparent at just a glance. The moment I booted it, it asks if I want to use a controller. I figured sure, why not. Little weird because the store said controllers weren't supported, but it said it detected mine. It was able to detect my controller input for accepting but then I couldn't navigate with it and had to quit the game and restart. Then there's the dialogue that doesn't seem to always seem coherent. It seems like some of the girl's responses were meant for one dialogue option but got triggered by a different one or just any of them. The actual rhythm game? Well, the difficulty ramps up quick and becomes absurd. Doesn't matter, though. You can fail and you STILL earn an SS rank on the song. There's an auto-mode, which you'll probably wind up needing to use because some of the things you need to hit don't even line up with either of your hit zones? There is one "boss" specifically that throws things and it lands between F and J, but you need to hit F to hit it. There's another that lands just above J and needs J to hit. Why don't these curve to the hit zone like everything else? Then a lot of the beat…

Really difficult to decide exactly if this game deserves to be recommended or not due to a very large elephant in the room. Muse Dash, but with Hunie Pop-style presentation. This is that very large elephant I was talking about. It is so much like Muse Dash that you could show a screenshot of both of them side-by-side and not be quite sure which is which except that the chibi-style characters during gameplay has a different art style. It's like when Tower of Fantasy first released and everyone saw it ripped the same font/menus/etc from Genshin Impact. There is no way I could call this "Looking similar". It's way beyond that. The interface, the 2-lane note highways, the FEVER meter, the sound effects, THE SOUND EFFECTS, even the way a boss-type enemy appears mid-stage and throws enemies down your lanes is exactly the same as Muse Dash. It's very blatant. Very in-your-face, especially if you have already played Muse Dash before. I don't know how this is legal unless this kind of work is protected/encouraged in their country of origin. I'm not saying they stole Muse Dash assets or the source code, but if some random stranger told me that, I would absolutely believe him. Visually, it's…
