About OMVROS

OMVROS is a brand-new indie falling-note rhythm game. It expands upon traditional 4K gameplay by splitting the track into upper and lower sections, where notes strike from both sides simultaneously.【Game Features】
  • Dynamic Chart Effects: Every chart features unique visual performances, including but not limited to scroll speed changes (BPM changes), speed offsets, fake notes, and color shifts. The background environment also evolves with the atmosphere of each track.
  • Original "Moe" Anime Style: The game features multiple original, cute anime-style character illustrations.
  • Immersive Visual Performance: Certain hidden tracks feature stunning unlock animations. Combined with dynamic lighting and particle effects, the finale of each chapter is a true visual feast.
  • Renowned Composer Lineup: Featuring masterpieces from several well-known artists in the rhythm game scene, ranging from high-speed hardcore electronic music to melodic pop tracks.
【Early Access (EA) Description】The game is currently in its early development stage, and Chapter 1 is now fully available. We look forward to hearing feedback from the Steam community regarding judgment feel, visual effects, and chart difficulty. Future updates will include:
  • More challenging original chapters.
  • An original storyline presented in a Visual Novel format.

Some of these have already been mentioned by other reviewers. [list] [*]There is a bug with key bindings. If you assign one key to a button, then assign another key to the same button and press save... ta-da! A secondary key gets added. You can also assign the same key to multiple buttons. If this is intentional, I think there should be an explanation for it. [*]There is a big gap between the judgment for normal notes and the release timing for hold notes. The hold note judgment, in particular, sometimes makes patterns harder than they need to be. The intro of “Hyper Rhapsody” is a good example. [*]Hold notes are sometimes hard to see. The dark blue hold notes in “Syncorrupt” are especially bad! [*]Please hide the mouse cursor during gameplay, and show it again while the game is paused. Having to restart because I forgot to move the cur…
