really cool game i like
its a very interesting game doing too much. Any of the ideas can spin off into their own game. I feel that would be far better than small segments. I'm sure the cost would go down with one core idea and development. Like the mechanics were so drastically different between each chapter I was confused! Each chapter was fun and creative but it left me ultimately unengaged in any story including the over world. Bring focus to one story for one game at a time then bring the all together for a part two of this would be very cool.
Having grown up on the Steve Jackson/Ian Livingstone Fighting Fantasy books, this felt tailor made for me (the sewer path ending did make me laugh). Its a simple and basic story under an hour long, that sadly doesn't seem likely to get concluded based off the devs comments - however its still an intriguing concept that would be fun to see fully fleshed out in the future. Also whoever holds the original FF licences really needs to look into capitalising on someone turning the old books into fully playable interactive worlds in this same fashion.
For $2 this game was well worth it. I really liked the concept and ideas. Pretty straight forward and more of a story that you interact with. Similar to the telltale games. Looking forward to seeing what you do in the next part. Graphics and gameplay were all done well. Your movement is limited but with this being more of a story thats completely understandable.
A Genuinely fun game with reasonable lore and explanation for said lore. I'm looking forward to the full release
It's a game that's a lot like "One True Path - Part 1" but in Vr. Very cool.
