Not much to it yet, but the Unreal tech makes it look lovely. Levels are designed well to use the lighting tech, making you switch between night vision/torch rather than just turning it on at the start of the level and using it exclusively. More levels, more progression and better AI would help infinitely. Also just let me be a girl. Change the voice. R6 did this in 1997. Why is it suddenly hard?

Look, it’s the budget version of the other budget games in the genre. Like, if you [i]really[/i] couldn’t afford Black One: Blood Brothers, then this would probably scratch the itch, but honestly dude? It’s just not fun. It’s much more gung-ho than its competitors, almost playing like a worse version of R6V2, or even Takedown: Red Sabre, for anyone unfortunate enough to have played that. There’s no tutorial, no op randomisation outside of enemy and sometimes objective placement (Depending on what gamemode you pick), the gun sounds are trash, gun customisation is currently limited just to scopes, and the one achievement the game does have also doesn’t currently work, which is starting to become a staple of the genre. You get an aiming arc for grenade tossing, but the arc will move in unison with the throwing animation, so the likelyhood of the grenade landing where intended is next to zero. There’s also a levelling system which doesn’t seem to do anything gameplay-wise, which much like the broken achievements, is starting to become a common genre trope. Got this game as a gift from my husband and we play very often!! I actually learned how to play FPS games by starting with this! As much as I may not be familiar with the genre the environments are very immersive, I feel like I'm there during a mission with the feel of the AI and the way the buildings are set up is so much fun. Trying different methods of stacking with your team, the way the dynamic leans give more ways to clear rooms, and so many more small mechanics that were put into consideration makes this game all the more interesting to me. So far I've only played Medic and Breaching, but even then I love the way each role plays and feels. The dev team is very responsive to community feedback and with this recent update I can only imagine what else they have in store, so far it's nothing but excitement from me!

I can't recommend this if you are a seasoned tactical shooter fan. The graphics are ok but the gameplay is just not there at this time. There is nothing differentiating this game from any of the others that have come out in the last couple of years. Movement doesn't feel right such as leaning and your objectives are very limited along with any of the weapon or clothing options. You can change some things but not others when it comes to camo. They have given you the most bare bones of things to check boxes but nothing is fleshed out. You will move through the game as a lone wolf or now with the VERY limited AI which often get stuck because of their pathing. I realize this is the first effort but again, there are others doing it better and much more developed. Weapon customization is glitched and there is very little on offer. Too much time has been spent on making a big base to wander around in like Ground Branch but with no real purpose to it right now. It's cheap, but not as cheap as something like Zero Hour and there is just so little content at this time. This game has improved a lot over the year I have owned it. Initially, it felt underbaked. But I can clearly see the amount of effort the developers have put in since. It could use a lot of polish. For example, the sound effects are a little lacking. But the visuals are really nice, the enemy AI is fun and engaging and the weapon animations are also really good looking. Whilst the game has a lot of polish to do to get near the levels of Ready or Not, I would recommend giving it a shot especially considering the affordable price.

This game runs terrible, assets take several minutes to start rendering, and the gameplay isn't even good enough to somewhat make up for it.
