Orbosis Gloriosis

Didn't even bother finishing due to random momentum of progression. Bought it because the concept seems super satisfying, but it got overshadowed by other things. Runs rely entirely on Orb Mutation RNG to get any money so sometimes you just don't progress in money at all and sometimes you hit a "jackpot" where you suddenly get a lot because of hitting a higher orb. The second skill tree seems super lazy. Increase time, Increase time, Increase attack speed, Increase attack speed... Also the price is too high for around 2 hours of "content" where the first 20 minutes are a painful grind to even get things moving. Can't recommend it.

A great incremental game to add to the collection/backlog. If you've been recommended the game, it's time to pick it up.

The visual scaling is brilliant, successfully consolidating everything down to a giant white object surrounded by tiny shards. It provides the suspenseful experience, giving you hours of quality time to sit and contemplate your life choices while waiting for those last few stubborn pieces to merge. It is the kind of breakthrough progression design that keeps you glued to your screen for hours, trying absolutely everything to force a victory. My GPU is chilled out at 24% utilization, basically on vacation, while my CPU was screaming at 127% capacity, trying to calculate the trajectory of a million colorful spheres. It has successfully transformed my handheld device into a highly efficient space heater. 10/10, would thermal throttle again.

Cool idea, like the graphics and music. The physics/game design is INCREDIBLY frustrating. Spinning the camera does practically nothing. By the time you're to the really high colors, the balls are so small you can't see whether you're damaging them, and they constantly get covered by other balls, ruining your damage. No prestige mechanic.
