Pachillinko

"Mixed" is decidedly the correct review score here. First off, there was an update in 2025 that added a whole new game mode. That was the game that should've been released in the first place (separately). It's good, no complaints. This review is for prior to that update. I bought this game for plinko: I wasn't interested in the pachinko aspect. Unfortunately, you are forced to play pachinko in order to buy balls for the plinko game mode. It took several hours of grinding to start the game I actually wanted to play! The upgrade system is missing some sizzle. The game lags horribly and the load times are atrocious. The achievements are also grindy. I like the music and aesthetic, and since I paid under a dollar I got a good value. I can only recommend it if you're into [i] both [/i] of the pachinko and plinko elements.

+ It's one of the few pachinko games on Steam - Music is awful - GUI text is bugged. It is all garbled and overlapping - The text brightness is way too bright and blurry and hurts my eyes - The pachinko balls just auto spawn for free so it kills the point of even playing this game - The pachinko balls are completely silent as they bounce off of the pins - This game advertises all these features and game modes but they are not there or the menu too is too broken to access any of it

its short but fun. love the art style and moody music but after you cap things out, the fun ends there. could of used more uniqueness with varied powerups.

This is a nice game to play in the background. If you understand what it is, then you'll likely enjoy your time with it. Drop some balls, watch them fall, earn points, upgrade, upgrade, upgrade....prestige and repeat. If that sounds fun, then by all means give it a shot!

May the next attempt at a similar game learn from this one. The core idea is relaxing and surprisingly easy to lose time in, but it never develops beyond its first few hours. A successor could build on this foundation with meaningful board variations (there are board variation here, just superficial), risk-reward choices, unlockable modifiers, chain reactions, goals beyond raw accumulation, and reasons to interact with the board instead of simply watching it. There is potential here. This feels more like a proof of concept than a finished evolution of the idea.
