This could be a good game. It's got some issues though. First off the map is really cluttered. It's hard to tell what units are where. Also the animations really slow the game down. Whatever "wow" factor they might have had for the first half turn fades fast. Other than that it's another Panzer General 2 clone, of which there are at least a half-dozen better examples out there. I'll probably play it more at some point, give it a second, third or even fourth chance. But again, better clones out there even though this one definitely tried to get attentions with it's graphics.1 found this helpful
UI is just awful. I mean truly awful. Like it was designed by someone who has never played a video game. Controls suck. Why is left click the button to select, deselect, move, AND attack with no way to change keybinds???? I can't say how many times I've moved a unit accidentally because I was trying to select another one, and unlike other games there is no "undo" if you make a mistake. Runs absolutely terribly. Even on a high end computer running low graphics, it stutters like nothing else.
Gameplay Mechanics: 6/10 Narrative: 5/10 Graphics: 6/10 Sound and Music: 6/10 Replayability: 6/10 Innovation: 6/10 Panzer Strategy tries to modernize the classic hex-based WWII wargame formula, offering full 3D visuals and more detailed mechanics than its predecessors. While the ambition is there, the execution feels uneven, resulting in a game that’s functional but rough around the edges. Gameplay mechanics offer a familiar turn-based strategic experience. You’ll command historical units, manage supply lines, and try to outmaneuver your opponent on expansive battlefields. It tries to go deeper than Panzer Corps with more detailed stats and layered systems, but the UI and pacing can feel clunky at times. Score: 6/10. Narrative is mostly forgettable. Missions are based loosely on historical events, but there's not much storytelling to pull you in beyond standard briefings. Score: 5/10. Graphics are a step above classic hex games with fully rendered 3D battlefields and units. However, performance issues and dated textures hold it back from feeling modern. Score: 6/10. Sound and music are fine but nothing special. You get standard military tracks, decent weapon effects, and basic…
Fun turn based game a little baffling at first but soon worked it out. I liked the style and graphics also the combat outcome is slightly different each time but not outrageous. so reloading does not always help. The game benefits aggressive but thoughtful play and care and attention should be given to preserving core units throughout the campaign. Overall I enjoyed the game and am looking to purchase more titles from the developers.
Disaster The Same As Their New Games In 4 Parts . After Buying Both Old And New I Realiesd Just How Bad They Are Both Old +New . I Uninstalled Both , Waste Of Money. Would Not Recomend For anybody. Virtualy No Troops Or Tanks At All.
