Hard to say I'd "recommend" it, because I'm on the spectrum and this is like a soothing coping mechanism for me. I have played versions of this since the original Panzer General on Sony Playstation in 1996! So, basically I've been playing this game for 30 years. So you can imagine my surprise to see very few people have played this long enough to get the (meaningless) "achievements" Steam insists on games having. I say 'meaningless', but they do tell me not many others find this game either as addictive, or as meditative as I have. I would only NOT suggest PanzerCorps2 because the development team went full ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and created what should be a 2D game into a CPU hog. I'd buy it if they change the engine behind it...1 found this helpful

This is a great recreation of the original Panzer General with all the add-ons and the ability to use codes.
Good game. Easy to play. I like the battle animations!
Similar to old school SSI/Avalon Hill board game. Not a fan of the chess approach to combat as weight of fire should matter more but if you want that old War Game feel with a reasonable interface and pieces you can't lose it is an enjoyable time sink.
