Wait for a special but i found this was worth the half hour it takes to finish the game. pretty good spooky atmosphere, with good effects. One jump scare got me, when the lights in the room wnet out and I turned the light back on, and the monster came from the side.. LOL... No hiidng which is good, but you will have to run from a monster once or twice. bit dark in some places, which made it hard to see. You don't get a flashlight all game so best to play in a dark room or turn up the brightness a bit if you can. Good silent story. This has a sequel now which is coming soon. I liked this full game. Was worth the gameplay. THis one was better than the some junk games ive played and VIDAS games makes some gpretty decent games. 7/10 final rating. Pretty good effort. Only thing I didn't like was the poor inventory window other than that good short horror game.1 found this helpful
Good story in the game 👍, decent amount of jumpscares 😂. Will be playing the demo for the 2nd one soon to know more about Maddy's nightmare and if my thoughts are right about what is going on. A very small horror game about a girl, Maddy, who's haunted by a recurring dream. Can be finished within an hour. Maddy seemingly living her dream over and over goes to a doctor and gets a new, much scarier/lively dream in return. Or maybe it was all a dream. Hard to tell. It got some weird spooky sounds, a few jump scares ranging from ok to really good. And a much needed sprint key. Forgettable, but if you just want to play some random tiny indy horrors, this isn't a bad one to add to the list.1 found this helpful
Vidas knows exactly how to put you right into the atmosphere, big or small. I love his attention to detail and the jumpscares are pretty great!
