This looks promising. It has unique and interesting game play mechanics that fit in very well with the theme of the game. The sound, music and dialogue are nice. I personally like the cut scene backgrounds, they give a bit of context as to why the game takes place in the sewers. The game play, story, etc. are all very complimentary to each other. It's definitely worth a try. (Bugs, and maybe a crash or two, are to be expected for WIP games tho. Still worth playing.)

I honestly have had a good time playing this! Am I bad at it? Why yes, yes I am; however, there's something so fun about whacking enemies with a giant wrench lol. Also, I love the RATS. They're so cute :') All joking aside though, when I first played it, I was actually genuinely surprised with the turn the story takes towards the end of the demo. I'm certainly curious about the rest of this world that the game is set in and I can't wait to see the other areas and how the story progresses as the game gets fully released later in the year.

Penelope Syndrome Preview is a pretty interesting survival horror game that I liked because it makes me feel vulnerable without simply taking away all my ability to fight back. I play as an ordinary mechanic trapped in an industrial city filled with hostile cryptid creatures, and my main tool is a heavy wrench that I can use when I have enough resources to support it. I enjoyed that setup because the character feels much more like a normal person trying to survive than a traditional horror protagonist. The scavenging is one of the best parts for me. I have to search through sewer systems and back alleys for useful materials, then decide what I can afford to spend. That creates some genuinely interesting moments because resources are not just rewards. They are decisions. I might need something for repairing a damaged system, but I may also need supplies to survive an encounter with an enemy. The repair mechanics give the exploration a clear purpose too. I am not simply walking around looking for the next scare. I need to find broken systems and get them working so I can continue progressing.
