- No optimisation whatsoever, takes way too much of components power - Uses outdated windows software which significantly limits it - No graphical or resolution settings and it's set at a very poor default resolution - Extremely buggy, got soft locked 3 times in 5 minutes - The lack of saves wasn't an issue for me as I don't see anyone playing this game more than once in the first place, precisely because the game is so terrible. Hi all o7 Regarding some of the moronic negative reviews: Game played fine, no issues and I don't have a high end PC. The game looks fine, why tf I would need graphic settings? The game has checkpoints, so why tf would I need saves? It's not a bad game! It's quite satysfing to bonk the enemies with a Palpatine infused baseball bat that is surounded by force lightning and turns enemies in to ashes. LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE! o74 found this helpful
"Phantom Ascension" is, like, a student project or something? It's a first person action "Roguelike" (meaning, no content, just crappy procgen as a substitute) where you have a Crysis like experimental suit and you beat people up in some kind of near-cyberpunk setting... at least that's the box blurb, and wow, the game looks great... but don't judge a book by the cover. What do you do in the game? First person brawling/adventure stuff but it's janky as all hell and isn't even a full game... it goes nowhere after a while. It's obvious this is incomplete yet was published on Steam and then abandoned. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience.
