Pieceful Gallery is a simple, traditional jigsaw puzzle game with great (public domain) art and good visuals (menus), with only minor shortcomings in tech and polish/quality of life. + Ten puzzles for free + Good art * Harsh difficulty increases through 100-piece puzzle piece increments * Rotate all pieces to their correct rotation action (honestly, necessary for the second half of puzzles) * Popover with finished picture for reference, in two (zoom) sizes * Paid DLC offers ten more puzzles * Decent visual structure for piece sorting and matching * Not all coloring makes it obvious how pieces go together, requires some careful matching or trial and error

Puzzels get missing bc they somehow get out of bounds, i keep randomly snapping to a certian location when shrinking and growing. when checking the picture, it keeps clicking the puzzel underneath. I give up. This is not peaceful.

I'd give this a neutral review if I could but not a huge fan so far. To some extent I like the puzzle difficulty - pieces can be rotated, it takes a decent amount of trial and error to figure out where everything goes, but ends up being satisfying when everything comes together. But then you have to do it 9 more times for the same picture with increasing levels of difficulty if you want to 100% everything. Sure, the gameplay mimics doing a physical jigsaw but part of the fun is the variety in images. The game only gives you like 5 separate images (all public domain art) and 4 are locked behind individual DLCs! Even if their easiest tiers were made free, that's not really what I'd call "variety," and though the devs need to make money like everyone else, bundling the small amount of unique content into a single DLC would make more sense. They also need better controls (or controls period) for moving across the screen. I can't click + hold or use WASD to move across a screen scattered with puzzle pieces; I can only zoom out completely, move my cursor to the area I want to expand and then zoom in again. It's a very good, nice, and calming distraction from unfortunate events that have occurred in my personal life.

perfect time-killer

I love puzzles, and here they are in Steam) Very beautiful pictures, wonderful detail, but there is a BUT... Namely, bugs. As I read, most people struggle with this. And I have struggled with it many times as well. The thing is, either one piece is missing, or if you've assembled more than half and quit (to return to the game later), what you've assembled simply disappears. Only the pieces that you haven't added to the main picture remain. It's annoying, to be honest. I deleted and restarted the game (and my computer too), but the problem persisted. So, developers, please take note. Otherwise, my rating (taking these bugs into account) is 8/10.
