[h1]Before I played Platformer::Execute();, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]

This game is highly underrated for what it is. Great platforming mixed with really simple programming. That makes a pretty fun game in my opinion, as long as you're willing to use your brains for a bit :)

Platformer::Execute(); approaches the platforming genre from an unusual direction by making planning and programming more important than direct character control. Created and published by AwesomeBugGames, the game places players in the role of a robot programmer who must guide a machine through a succession of 2D stages. Rather than controlling every movement as it happens, the player develops a sequence of instructions and then watches the robot execute them. This simple shift transforms what initially resembles a traditional platformer into a logic-focused puzzle game centered on prediction, experimentation, and efficient problem solving. Each stage essentially functions as a small programming problem. The environment establishes the conditions, the destination provides the objective, and the available commands become the tools used to construct a solution. Players need to examine distances, obstacles, platforms, and the robot's expected behavior before deciding which instructions should be performed and in what order. I've only been playing this game for a few hours, but I've already had tons of fun. I like having to really think about an efficient way to finish every level. I also like that I'm not being forced to use the least amount of functions possible. There's the freedom of forming your own sequence, but also there's challenges provided through the complexity of the levels and the objectives after beating a level. Unfortunately, I still have some concerns. From time to time, the game stops responding to my inputs. I tried spamming esc, arrow keys, wasd, but it still doesn't respond. Every time this happens, I restart the game, which I find tedious. I also couldn't push boxes from time to time, despite restarting the level.

A puzzle platformer with emphasis on the puzzles. The platforming is forgiving, requires little accuracy or timing. You solve the puzzles by activating platforms to jump to and from with simple coding. While you do code, the coding is light and leans more into a puzzler and thus not suitable as a coding tutorial.
