Pocket Idler: Fishing Pond

This game starts horrendously by not letting you click on the settings to change the resolution. So it starts with a ton of text, that you literally cannot read, because it's tiny. Good job developer, maybe let people access the settings to your game before the game starts. The game is poorly translated, It seems to call fishers, fisher people. I dunno, just seems like a weird way to type... fishers. I'm guessing it's because they were gonna put fishermen, then thought hang on, there's fisherwomen as well. But fishers rolls off the tongue a lot easier than fisher people. I tried to finish the day by clicking close... it wouldn't work. I tried mashing the button, people kept coming in and leaving bad reviews because there were ♥♥♥♥ all fish in the pond. As it turns out, you have to click and hold. Why? You can click on birds that fly past... for one coin. Exactly one. Not worth the bother really. The game is extremely slow, I get that it's an idle game... but even for an idle game, there's nothing here. You can increase the ticket price for people to come and grab a single fish now and then. Very relaxing Game

Game is ok for its price, but gets dull and repetitive very quick. If idle games are your thing, this one isn't it.

Pocket Idler: Fishing Pond is a relaxing cozy idle game where you manage your own fishing pond and gradually turn it into a cozy, thriving fishing spot. The main gameplay revolves around earning money and reputation: money is used to upgrade and buy new types of fish, while reputation allows you to increase prices and unlock rarer, more valuable fish. The game has an auto day cycle and automatic fish purchasing, so you can leave it running in the background. The game is fairly short for an idle game. It takes around 8 hours to unlock all achievements. There is also one minor downsides: At the beginning of the tutorial, there is a small bug that prevents you from advance the dialogue, making it impossible to progress in the game. Despite the wonky issue with the tutorial (which was resolved by the lovely people on the forums), I found this to be a very nice experience. My favorite aspect of the title was being able to choose the fish for the guests to reel in. I would recommend those who have money to burn and just want to kill some time.

I found the game to be quite buggy, often I would need to exit the game and re-open it because the button to open the pond would disappear. The fishing mini game, even with the best rod and bait, was pretty much impossible for highest tier fish. Overall I'd only recommend if it's on a steep sale and this type of game is something you love.
