POLY IMPULSE

Fun speedrun game with a focus on mechanical aim. I do like the mechanics of each polygon, and there's evidently been some thought to make them distinguished from each other and mechanically interesting on their own.

Very fun and simple game with deep mechanics. Definitely worth trying the demo at least if you enjoy playing aim trainers and/or movement shooters :)

I don't usually do reviews longer than like a few words, but this game is actually very fun! Really cool to look at other ppl's replays and see how different they decided to do the level compared to me. I usually have this on in the background when queuing for stuff.

POLY IMPULSE takes the familiar ingredients of a first-person shooter and rearranges them into something much more focused on movement, timing, and speed. Instead of building its identity around firefights or traditional enemy encounters, it treats shooting as an essential part of traversal. Developed by Dani Bedmar and Moromon and published by Dani Bedmar, the game challenges players to move through compact courses as efficiently as possible, using carefully placed geometric objects to manipulate momentum. The concept is easy to understand within minutes, but executing a genuinely fast run requires considerably more practice. The defining feature is the interaction between shooting and movement. Different polyhedrons scattered around each course produce effects that can influence the player's trajectory, with green icosahedrons providing an impulse when struck. Learning how these objects behave is only the beginning. The real challenge is figuring out when to shoot them, where to position yourself beforehand, and how to carry the resulting momentum into the next section. This game is fun and addicting. Mechanics are easy to understand but hard to master. Might be hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it becomes super fun! Definitely recommend getting if you're looking for fun game with competitive leaderboard.
