I really wanted to like the game. It seemed charmingly janky and made by a solo dev. I like the cute narration. I told myself I wouldn't leave a negative review or ask for a refund unless the game was REALLY bad. Yet here I am because, unfortunately, the game doesn't appear to be in a playable state. I was trapped under the earth a couple of times trying to move my little guy (whose leg kept disappearing? not sure why) across the gigantic but empty-feeling map. Much of the game's text is unreadable as it is out-of bounds of the screen or obscured behind some other UI element. The NPC pathing is odd, and it's not clear how to command the soldiers to follow you. The player character doesn't appear to have an attack animation. Just a a magical arrow shooting directly from the hand. I quickly researched 70% of the technology with just a handful of workers generating income. It's not clear whether the tech upgrades actually did anything, and there was certainly no feeling of progression or enjoyment in it. I feel a bit silly for buying the game despite zero reviews (I'm the first). And nobody has earned the "survive 2 hours" Steam achievement, so there probably aren't any dedicated p…2 found this helpful
