About Polygon Hero
As Polygon Hero, you need to decide who to save. The infection spreads too fast for you to save all the citizens. With 10 different types of zombies, you need to strategize which ones you'll kill first. Crawler zombies can climb walls and jump on you, boomer zombies self-detonate, shade zombies can move through walls and charge, giant zombies can throw corpses!

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Polygon Hero is a low-budget wave survival shooter that divides players on its intentionally minimal aesthetic. While some appreciate the surreal atmosphere, weapon variety, and soundtrack as creating an interesting experience, others criticize the placeholder-quality graphics as feeling cheap and derivative rather than intentionally stylized. The gameplay itself receives mixed reactions—some find it fun and challenging, though difficulty spikes (like tough yellow zombies) frustrate players, and most would welcome additional content like a campaign mode.

"Polygon Hero" is an incredibly lame first person wave survival shooter with the gimmick that it has extremely crap graphics. Yeah, that's what gamers were crying out for... bad graphics. It's not even decent in terms of gameplay. The game graphics look like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Despite being such low quality, it looks like the developer might have just ripped off someone else's low polygon/placeholder assets to make this. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too, which plays out here for sure. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. It's important to note that, despite this be…
It's obvious that the game was developed on a tight budget. I liked the atmosphere and the variety of weapons. An interesting soundtrack and surrealism of what's happening on the screen create an interesting vibe. 14 minutes were enough for me to get an interesting experience.
