(Please note that the only reason I have so many hours on this game is because when you're a kid, you just play the games and don't care how bad it they are). If you want an open world game with driving and third-person shooting, look no further! Like literally, look no further, because this game ruins all three of those aspects. It's a dead open world-- which is on point for a game set in the desert but that's obviously not what YOU want-- and the driving is literally just to take you from point A to point B. The shooting is bare-bones, so much so that I did most of the killing with the baseball bat, which satisfyingly sends zombies flying if you charge up the swing. And the story... my GOD, the story. Rather than presenting a gritty survival horror experience, it delivers a loud, fast-paced slaughterfest where mowing down hordes of undead is the central attraction. The game follows John Major, a reluctant anti-hero thrown into a bizarre outbreak scenario that quickly spirals into absurd territory. The story unfolds through brief cutscenes and dialogue exchanges that mix parody with crude humor. While the plot itself is thin and often intentionally ridiculous, it serves as a framework for continuous combat scenarios rather than a deep narrative journey. The tone is unapologetically over-the-top, with exaggerated characters and situations reinforcing the game’s arcade identity rather than aiming for emotional weight. Gameplay centers around third-person shootin…2 found this helpful

Fair warning that you may or may not be able to enjoy the game using modern hardware. On Windows 11, AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT the game will often crash during loading or start hanging up on rendering then crash.1 found this helpful
