Search a mysterious room filled with environmental clues and piece together fragmented memories to uncover dark family secrets and reunite with your missing sister. This atmospheric puzzle adventure stands out with its dynamic comic-style storyboard visuals, clue synthesis mechanics that drive the narrative forward, and an original five-part modular soundtrack that gradually unlocks across playthroughs.
The hero Ivry wakes up from a nightmare and finds himself in a weird room. To escape from fear and darkness, he has to search and explore on his own until he discovers the truth and finds his sister Iva.
Ivry:Gentle and sensitive;dislikes insects, dirty hands and blood; has a great talent for music; popular young musician.
Iva:Sparky and outgoing, sometimes mischievous; often said to be a tomboy. Turned calm, quiet and more ladylike after going through the family's misfortune, but is still as straightforward and resolute as before. Good at drawing.
Storyboard performance: In the game, standing pictures and dialog boxes don’t have fixed positions. The performance takes on the storyboard widely used in comics, in which a large amount of pictures form a rich visual performance.Clue Integration: To avoid boredness brought by long monologues, apart from making regular uses of items to solve puzzles, players also need to search through the map to find clues and then integrate them into new clues, so as to push forward the plot.
Original BGM: The only BGM in this game was composed by independent musician TetraCalyx, which consists of five voice parts, namely P, R, I, C and E. They will be unlocked one by one in the new game+ by solving puzzles.
An updated decoder is recommended for a better experience, since there're 11 video performances to cover the whole story.

Short and not so sweet game with simple yet emotional story. I was very captivated by the opening scene, I didn't even notice my cursor was on the screen. No need for long review, it's free, if you have some time to spare just play it. Only issue I have with this game is lack of outlines or something that would help distinguish clickable things. When there's a clutter of objects it's hard to know which one you've clicked. Cursor is pretty big and hitboxes are not super precise, often resulting in checking the same object twice in a row, or just not noticing something.3 found this helpful
⋆⊱༻The Price Shall Be Paid When The Awakening Comes. Please Do Enjoy The Time When Death Has Yet To Come༺⊰⋆ Price is a very short experience. i finished it in under an hour, but it still leaves a strong impression despite its length. its a puzzle horror game, filled with lore that you have to search for and discover yourself. You start off with a very well made intro with beautiful detailed art and a soundtrack that fits the atmosphere completely. After that, you get into the real story. you wake up as a young boy named Ivry, a gentle musician who finds himself in a strange, dreamlike room and must explore and solve clues to uncover the truth while searching for his sister Iva, who has changed after a family tragedy. The gameplay is focused more on exploration and observation rather than action, which makes it feel thoughtful and immersive. Instead of being guided step by step, youre encouraged to actively search for meaning and piece things together through what you discover, which makes the experience feel more personal. Overall, Price is a short but memorable game that stands out for its art style music but not only for those also for the storytelling presentation. Even …1 found this helpful
I was honestly really obsessed with this game. The art style and atmosphere are incredible, it feels like a dream you don’t want to wake up from. The story had me really invested the whole time and I just wanted to keep going to see what happens next. And the music… I was actually OBSESSED with it. It fits everything so perfectly and stayed in my head even after I stopped playing. Some parts of the gameplay were a bit unclear and more trial-and-error than I usually like, but I didn’t even care that much because the vibe was just THAT good. I could honestly see this being turned into a really good anime if it kept this art style — I would 100% be there for it. Also still surprised this game is free, I genuinely wouldn’t have minded paying for it. It feels way too good for that. I just wish it would’ve been longer.1 found this helpful
Great game, with a great OST (had to buy it, trust me it slaps). The story is good and the game isn't that long to complete so you can really just take one evening to breeze through it. I would have loved some kind of sequel though, because I really love the vibe and story (thought I was confused by it at first, but that's because I'm stupid) and it was over before I knew it. 10/10 - Sure, it was a bit too short, but it's free. Can't complain, really
one of my favourite games <3
simple, short and FREE puzzle game that you can complete in just under an hour — however, it was buggin' out and I had to playthrough 3x before I was able to 100% it but it's fineeee 'cause I wanted the emojis anyways. the art style is cute and creepy and Chinese. the relationship between the siblings is very questionable, but I'll let you be the judge of that.
