About Project Signal

In Project Signal, you are a nameless trekker searching for potential UFO evidence in a remote wilderness. If there is such knowledge to be found, said knowledge is dangerous to possess - and this is why you will not be alone in the wilderness. Strange men will come after you when you discover ''too much,'' intent on making you disappear forever.

Investigate...

You are given a large wilderness to explore with many points of interest. In this semi-randomized area, various pieces of evidence and phenomenon can be found. Discovering evidence will bring you closer to victory, but also make the experience turn more dangerous.

...and Escape

Once you have gathered enough evidence, you will receive visitors. Black-clad men are now after you, intent on making you disappear. Can you outrun them and escape the vast forest?FEATURES
  • large, open 3D environment with points of interest and randomized elements
  • keep your ears open and hold a sharp sense of orientation - or lose yourself in the wilds

This was a fun little game! Managed to find all the events, POIs and evidences multiple times, but couldn't figure out how to escape the forest afterwards, the FBI got me lol Might also be my own fault since I immediately went with hard mode

I played for about 30 mins, but didn't manage to find any of the evidence. They must be quite well hidden :) I did however follow the blue orb twice, and watched it disappear. My biggest complaint is having the invisible walls around the map. I would at least expect to see dark, thick bushes that I can't go through at the edge of the playzone. And even a rudimentary map, showing only the player and the total playable area would help a lot. It would help me visualise the invisible barriers. I was also a bit disappointed that I could not climb the lookout tower. I'm all for exploration in games, but this game has just a little bit too few pointers nudging you to the right direction. These could be anything from environmental storytelling, like more unique level props, to in-game map posts which show a basic "You are here" point of the map. One extra complaint: there was no audio slider in the option menu, and Esc button returned you to the main menu. There should really be a pause menu of some kind, where you could at least change the options and return back to where you were at. First time I pressed Esc accidentally, and found out the hard way that it's a hard reset of the gam…
