Public Enemy: Revolution Simulator

This thumbs down is based strictly on technical issues. First of all: there is horrific screen tearing. Secondly: opening the menu froze the game, forcing me to alt-tab and manually close the game. I gave it another shot, telling myself "o.k. then, just do it in one go, and don't open the menu". And then I got caught by a guard... which opens a menu... which froze the game again. The only way I'm going to finish the game is to do it in one perfect run, and I'm just not willing to put myself through that. I'm almost willing to bet that beating the game will open a menu or the credits, and it will freeze again. The gameplay itself seems o.k., nothing bad nothing great. It's a fairly simple stealth/sort-of-mayhem game. As far as I know, the game is fairly short, so if it looks fun to you, give it a go... but I sure hope you can actually play the game if you do.

Из плюсов - достаточно понятный интерфейс и неплохая реиграбельность за счет различных стратегий и случайно генерируемых событий. Интересно следить за статистикой поддержки, моральным духом населения и взаимодействием с различными фракциями. Однако, игра довольно быстро становится однообразной. Не хватает глубины в политических аспектах и вариативности в выборе идеологий. Боевая система (когда дело доходит до столкновений с полицией) выглядит примитивно, а отсутствие более развернутого сюжета обедняет впечатления. В целом, 'Public Enemy' – неплохой таймкиллер, позволяющий почувствовать себя в роли революционера, но не стоит ожидать от него реалистичности и сложной политической симуляции. Рекомендую тем, кто интересуется темой и готов закрыть глаза на некоторые упрощения. Оценка: 6/10.

minimalist intricacy

i like it a lot i just wish that there was like a final revolt where you, and the other citizens fight the gaurds and storm the palace. but it is a great game and i would reccomend.

While this is a simple looking game, it is well executed. You have to do different actions when around certain guards, more guards spawn as you progress and your margin for error gets smaller and smaller. Again, simple, but very effective. Plus it's free! Recommend you give it a go.
