A collection of games where objects fall from one side of the screen while you control a character to avoid some of the objects and collect others (the marbles). This is interesting to me because I made numerous of the same kinds of games when I was a kid. So, this is like an expanded library of something personal to me. I would recommend this game to others with a few huge caveats. Literally all of the minigames are variations of the same thing: as said, obstacles and marbles come from some side of the screen. The difference between games is usually just the player character moving in different ways. Couldn’t there have been other possible two-button, marble collecting games? I have mixed feelings on the pachinko machine. It’s slow and boring; just hold down both buttons and expect to get a new unlock every 50 marbles or so. On the other hand, the fact that you use the marbles you collected from the minigames is genius. But the issue is the same as in the minigames: there is more potential here in playing with marbles than what the game accomplishes. Couldn’t there be other possible gambling/unlock games with marbles that are more interesting or require more skill? Pool? Actual …

pureya feels like a cozy arcade. You only use the left and right arrow keys to play all of its minigames. As you play, you collect marbles that can be used in a pachinko machine to unlock more skins and games. I thought this would be a quick "in and out" experience, but the amount of games and content to unlock in pureya is truly mind-blowing. It almost feels like a collectathon in a way. It's not the best game in the world, nor does it need to be. The gameplay loop is simple and oddly satisfying. I find myself wanting to play pureya when I'm unwinding and don't want to invest a lot of mental energy into a game for the night. It's perfect for that. pureya is worth its full $5.99 price tag, but it's often on sale for less than $2. At that price, it's an absolute steal. An easy recommendation for me.

It works as a minigame collection. It runs well and so worth. Would Flappy Bird again (the bat minigame).

It's close to a 7/10, but for a cheap price, this game is worth picking up. It essentially functions as a Warioware-like minigame collection where the currency you earn can be spent towards RNG rewards. Most of the minigames (except perhaps that obnoxious bat minigame) are decently well made for only having 2 buttons. My primary gripe is with the pachinko mechanic. Take this with a grain of salt as I was playing on Steam Deck, but the controls were quite clunky, leading to a lot of wasted marbles. Other than the clunky pachinko system, the game is quite fun to pick up and play on and off for a quick thing to focus on. The "story" setup and artwork are also adorable, for how limited they are. It takes some time to get to the ending, but it does feel satisfying. Most of the completionist achievements in general are very satisfying (though 888 is absurdly difficult compared to the rest). The sound track was quite nice as well. I'd recommend picking up this game during a sale (or the mobile version if you fancy that) if you like Warioware-style minigame collections, cute retro aesthetics, and (mostly) satisfying completionist achievements.
