About Puzzle Pelago - A Drag & Drop Economy
Do you like puzzles? Do you like base building games? Look no further!

The islands of the Puzzle Pelago have been devastated by a storm, and now the islanders cannot figure out how everything was laid out! Space is tight on the tiny islands, and roads may not cross - lest the stubborn haulers run into each other!
The core mechanic of Puzzle Pelago is simple - create new workshops by dragging from existing workshops or resources. From a forest, you can drag a lumber jack that produces logs. From a lumber jack, you can drag a saw mill that produces planks. You can even combine two goods to produce a more advanced one: combine ore and coal to produce iron, or tools and planks to produce furniture!
But even though the task starts simple, each island you visit will become more challenging than the previous one! Can you help rebuild them all???

Pretty good puzzler. Early levels are imo a bit too easy, but the later levels provide a good challenge and you really need to think quite a bit for certain levels. Easy to play and dev responds to any issues that come up. Style is charming, clear and serves the game well. Definitely worth it for anyone who likes puzzle games at the low price point. Only one issue - I had quite a few crashes, though I never lost any progress and relaunching the game took no time at all. Dev has deployed a hotfix that should have resolved the issues for anyone else.2 found this helpful
This is quite a bit of fun if you miss the kinds of puzzle games you used to be able to play on Kongregate. This reminds me of that type where you have to connect different colored nodes on a grid without ever letting the filaments that connect them cross, except in this case it is complicated by having to convert the raw resources the nodes create into upgraded materials. It's a lot of fun for 10 minutes at a time. :)1 found this helpful
No bugs, pleasant enough music and a fairly good amount of puzzles (over 125 I think). The controls are very easy and the "rules" are simple enough to remember as you play. I was expecting a bit more of a challenge, but I wouldn't say this was overly easy. It seems to end with a hint there will be more, but with sales seemingly to not be great, this was likely shelved. As a note; Game does start with sending anonymous data on for bugs, but you can change that with a quick toggle.1 found this helpful
At first its a quirky game, giving off vibes I have played on mobile. but its not a drop and click economy game. had my attention for 20mins and then felt repetitive.1 found this helpful
I'm mixed. It's a more advanced version of those "grid with pairs of coloured dots that you have to connect without any lines crossing" puzzles: Draw lines to move a good from one place to another, and bringing two together produces a new good to then move elsewhere. These chains get several levels deep. It's a good idea, and it's very nicely presented I think. It's clear and charming. The trouble for me is that it shares the issues that those other line puzzles have: it's hard to solve them logically, step by step. Unless I'm just failing to pick up some kind of method, the way you solve them is to pick one area, try to solve that, and see how the rest of the level pans out. If it doesn't work out, try doing something else. As the levels get larger, and the production chains have more and more steps, it gets worse: The lack of many constraints doesn't give you much to work with other than trial and error. And then there's more to redo if you have to change something. I've completed 13/17 chapters currently, and maybe I just lack patience for the last few. Opening a new level feels more like "oh no I have to do all that again" than excitement. I do want to like it, and I'm leav…
Calming and challenging to play. something good to pick up and work your brain, and the puzzles get a little harder each time.
