About Masterplan Tycoon
Masterplan Tycoon is a minimalistic resource management sim. Everything in the game is simple and consistent. The nodes are buildings. The pins are contact points between them. The links are roads between buildings.

Your task in this game is to manage the available space and connect everything correctly so the products get delivered to the intended destination. Masterplan Tycoon depicts all the elements schematically, which means you may focus on managing the flow of resources with nothing to distract you from this exciting process.

The game doesn't penalize you. Mistakes don't lead to losses. The process of immersion and learning is easy and relaxed. With each new mission, the chains will become more complex and require more ingenuity. Conduct research to facilitate resource production and monitor the system you have constructed.
Build a quarry next to the mountain, build a storage facility and create a link between them. Easy enough, right? Well, now you are ready to start your journey as a logistics master. It is time to expand your production chains to new areas!

Discover the minimalistic world of resource management. Take time to think about how to build chains properly. Find new resources. Change your decisions, rinse and repeat. Master the game mechanics, which at first glance might look easy.

TL;DR: I recommend this game for folks looking for a COZY game with a production line theme. There are some quality of life features I wished were implemented, but the game is still very much playable and great to play while watching a stream or generally chilling. I can't stress this enough, THIS IS A COZY GAME that is about production. I purchased this game thinking this would be a fun factory sim/supply chain game, and I did spend some levels/missions treating it as such. However, the most fun I had was when I didn't worry about min/maxing or perfect placement, but instead did whatever I felt like. Here's why - * Cleary imbalanced factory/supply chains * Several missing standard factory game features such as quantified production rates * Several missing standard simulation QoL features and settings (more below) * Simple mechanics, simpler gameplay The above reasons along with the simplistic, dare I say, cute art style communicates to the player that they shouldn't take this game too seriously (because the developers didn't). This is not meant as a criticism, but take it as you will. My only true negatives about the game are all QoL fe…1 found this helpful
You can easily softlock yourself because for whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up reason the buildings to create planks require planks to build.1 found this helpful
Basically no hotkeys. No way to edit controls. WTF, it's 2026 oO Pressing B to open the build menu only works after right clicking first. No way to change scroll speed. It's one of these games where the dev thought to know better, how controls should word and fail.
I am standing against the mechanic that you have limited some types of rescources on other islads, for example brics. This really does not serve gameplay, imo
I really enjoyed this game for the first 10 hours of gameplay, but now game crashes every few minutes of play. My specs may be a part of the problem, so I will attach it.
A strange little management game that feels somehow overcomplicated, and overly simplified all at the same time. I can't say I recommend it, as it felt a little underdeveloped for a game that came out in 2023 with plenty of time for polish and refinement. At the moment I'll have to not recommend but who knows where this might be in the future if it sees any changes.
