"pWordle" is a word puzzle game. The gameplay consists of 6 attempts at 5 letter words in which you are trying to figure out which word corresponds to the letters you found from previous guesses. When you take a guess (the word must exist), you are shown if any of the letters exist in the word you are looking for. There are 2 different colors for the letters indicating whether that letter is at the correct position within the word or no. If a letter within the word is right, it reveals a part of the background image. The interactive gallery and the jukebox (customizable music) are nice! The images are pretty to look at and the quality is fine. I encountered no lag or delay in the levels or modes. It's perfect to pass your time in a sexy, relaxed, entertaining and informative way (learn new words through the puzzles). The function to view your statistics along with the global ones, is a convenient way to see how much you are improving over time. It is available in many languages! By far the ugliest game I've ever played. Awful, blurry font. Outdated, inconsistent, and janky UI. The game is just difficult to read and focus on while playing. And best for last, all the images are terrible, ugly, AI generated photos. This very much feels like a kid's or student's first game, in which case sure, that's great. But it shouldn't be on Steam and it shouldn't be something that you need to purchase, let alone have DLC (which is of course just more awful, AI generated images).3 found this helpful
Just try it.2 found this helpful
It's Wordle, it's fun. It's just that I don't have a reason to believe the images are not AI generated. And the soundtrack potentially too, but that's only my assumption because of the reason above. Let's say they both are, that would mean 66,6% of the game is made by AI and yet the developers are charging for it as if all of that were their work. I don't know, that's just shady business that probably shouldn't be supported, especially since you can play different Wordle games online for free.1 found this helpful
This is an addictive puzzle game with nice backgrounds as extra packs to purchase.1 found this helpful
Ryan George Style Pitch Meeting:
The Setting: The floating alphabet-block nebula has now collided with the Island of Time, causing giant, glowing 3D letters to be gently processed by massive, sparkling bubble-wrap rollers in the background. In the center of the serene chaos, a temporal bubble keeps a gold-plated jukebox perfectly intact, pulsing with lo-fi beats that are so chill they are physically turning the surrounding planets into giant, rotating pillows. The Publisher sits on a throne of shimmering marshmallows, idly clicking a mechanical keyboard that sounds like a kitten gently typing on a cloud. In the background, a dozen Sand-Wraiths are frantically trying to organize a mountain of consonants into alphabetical order using soft-bristle feather dusters, while a donkey named Farah—wearing a very tiny, very expensive crown—grazes on a pile of discarded vowels. The entire Prince of Persia cast (2003–2008) is present, leaning against giant floating letters and looking remarkably impressed by the low-stress environment. Publisher: So, you have a "I want to feel smart but mostly I just want to see a picture of a mountain" game for me? Game Designer: Yes, sir, I do! …
