✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the game's unique post-apocalyptic store management concept with elements like the zombie defense minigame, bribery system, and atmosphere, but criticize the slow early game, unresponsive controls that lock players into fixed positions for various mechanics, and frustrating thief encounters. The prologue shows potential but feels limited in scope, with many requesting quality-of-life improvements like disabling thieves early on, better NPC pathfinding, and more flexibility in how mechanics are handled, though most remain cautiously optimistic about the full release.

Doesn't really do anything new in the base cycle, just adds another step to customers entering the store and has a shoot down a hallway minigame every few days. Locks you into place for every mechanic aside from restocking, exiting those mechanics is unresponsive, leading to the thieves being even more a frustration than in any other game in this genre, expected this to be a short play due to it being a demo, wound up being a short play cause it did nothing good to even start to alleviate all the bad

The beginning feels a bit slow, but after some time the game starts to get more interesting and lively. It would be great to have an option in the settings to disable the thief, at least until reaching level 2. This could make the early game less frustrating and more enjoyable.

I cant say I recommend or dont recommend this game, as the prologue only does so much and I feel like the full release might bring something to this game, im very on the fence as I see the possible potential in its structure with more features over time but being stuck with out a save progress and limited items it doesnt give much to really go by. but unfortunatly due to steams review standing id have to say no sadly even though my experince wasnt extremely negative.

Fun quarantine game. Granted the fact they use cash is kind of funny, but for what it is I get it. The minigun defense I think is a good way to get people feeling involved. I do want to see if, as your going to be using the minigun, if you can use your cash to help improve defenses, or is it just going to give you the same wave everytime with the same discount, no matter how undamaged the wall? I feel like that may become repetitive, so hoping for a bit of defense improvements and changes in waves. Leveling feels pretty slow, but you can take your time investing in the items to get a backlog, which is good. I do think it's a problem that customer immediately become disgruntled that you don't have a new item right after you level up. Cause the level up will typically happen during the day, not like at the end. So you end up with a bunch of unhappy customers even though you can't do anything about it. I think it'd be better to move the anger to the next day after leveing. At least then the player has time to prep, see what new items are available and then buy them. I also want to see what theyre going to do with the strip club. Hoping more than just what it is now, basically asthe…

the bribery system, temperature checks, infected customers, and the overall atmosphere keep the game interesting. looking forward to seeing more content in the full version.

There are many things that can be improved but it was fun building up my store in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Defending against a horde of the undead was a nice touch. Some things to improve are: -Being able to move products to different shelves. -Being able to put back money in the register after acidentally getting too much rather than exiting out of it. -Making the temperature scanner equipable rather than needing to be forced into a position. -Making the register able to walk into rather than having the same forced position as the temperature scanner. -Being able to buy a gun rather than chasing down the thief with a bat. -Being able to move the register/computer. -The pathing of the NPCs could be made smoother. -The minigame for taking bribes isn't lucrative enough to risk a fine. An interesting idea could be to be able to scavenge for resources at night in instanced locations which you could then bring back to sell in the shop during the day.
