About QUIT TODAY

The story begins on an ordinary morning when you arrive at the company as usual, only to discover that all your colleagues believe you're about to resign. They see you as a traitor to the company and gang up on you. To figure out what's going on, you embark on a journey to protect yourself with your briefcase. After witnessing the darkness within the company, you decide to quit by defeating the company!

------\------

Beating Up Insane Colleagues

Encountering absurdities in different departments is absolutely normal. Those who are too stubborn and can not be communicated with a mouth will take a fist instead. Take that, my briefcase!

-

Random Skill Choices and Resources

During your journey, you can freely choose skill sets and maximize the benefits of randomly acquired resources. You are the master of working.

-

Friendship Brings Love, Courage, and Hope

Even in the darkness and dispair, you'll encounter partners who shine like the morning sun.
You can call them for support during battles, and in their departments, you can enhance combat abilities or improve the company's working environment.

This is the most new groundsy game that never came out of New Grounds. It's a fun story of a legitimately confused employee turned to company wrecker. The art and animation has an endearing raw quality to it like it was done in a flip notebook but the dev added more and more to it. It starts off being really slooow but after the 2nd/3rd department the gameplay starts getting playable to being really fun. Like keeping ten drones stuck in an air juggle while throwing office supplies at the dude at the other side of the map fun. It has to be emphasized: The start WILL put people off with how slow it is, that dash you have early on just feels terrible. It gets better but oh god. Certain status effects are also annoying (especially shock), but with how quickly you can go on a rampage on every enemy it doesn't cost too much brain power to watch out for certain types of moves. Overall a good VERY short cute game.

Quit Today looked interesting to me, it had a unique art style and fun visual aesthetic that I wanted to try and for the price? Honestly a really darn fun time, nothing super fancy but that said it played well enough and had a lot of fun mechanics and interesting designs to the game, it was kind of hard but it was never really unfair, even if it may have seemed so at times, there was always a way to beat what you were fighting, it's a fun, kinda silly time dood. More depth review? Sure not much to say really though, it's a 2D beat em up, you go up a lift, you enter an arena, you beat peeps up until you reach the manager of that floor and wipe the floor with them, each floor you beat nets you a free skill of which you can choose one of and it will be a permanent passive effect or new combo as well as an extra surprise at the end I won't spoil other than saying more ways to make fighting fun dood! The combo's are nice and simple, blocking is a little awkward (hold down, was never into that way of defending myself) you have a dash which is useless until you get a certain skill XD and ya can throw stuff, whether it's items you own or stuff laying around, there are even some fun m…

Somewhat stress relieving. Wish I knew how to get the other endings, but, unfortunately, no guides....
