Amazing game, top top, as a Metroidvania enjoyer, I found this game challenging, I dare to say it's on my top games along with Hollow Knight, Ori, Ender games. It's sad that its studio closed down, would have loved to see a sequel, or another game with same art, fluidity, and beatifully story telling.1 found this helpful
To put it simply this is a master piece. The visuals, the music and the game play are all top notch. The story is something very special for this genre (adventure / metroidvania), it stirs up emotions and make you really care for the characters. Parts of the game require a little bit of patience, but you will definitely get better and the bosses will eventually be beaten. All of the platform challenges can be addressed by practicing. If you still need help there are assist options which will make the game easier.1 found this helpful
If you're into metroidvanias then this is worth checking out. It has a nice art style, interesting story line, good music, and some decent boss fights. There are a couple of insane boss fights too which may drive you nearly insane.1 found this helpful

Absolutely gorgeous game in every aspect. Gameplay, art direction, the art itself, music, and story are all amazing in their own right and together. The devs made a game with a large amount of heart and soul to it. Bravo.1 found this helpful

I've very much enjoyed this game so far, from the precise platforming sections for secret items to the interesting bosses that test my abilities. This game is very punishing, I will admit, but it's worthwhile. I've also really enjoyed the narrative, piecing together what happened on The Vessel through lore items, environmental design, and the like. I'm rapt. Speaking of environmental design, the visuals in this game are stunning. Every area has a unique style that sets it apart from anywhere else, and they're all absolutely gorgeous. The blend of 3D model animations and 2D effects works spectacularly here. And the music! Killer OST. 10/10, no notes. Granted, I am a sucker for some good synthwork, and Nicolas Gueguen puts in some GREAT synthwork. However, I have two main gripes. First: the tremors. Mild spoilers for what those are: [spoiler]as you progress through the game's story, the ship will be hit with tremors which permanently reduce the maximum HP of yourself and all other entities with a health bar (bosses, enemies, even NPCs). I know it's na…1 found this helpful
