About QV

Start a dimension-jumping adventure with Quby!

In a universe, dimensions are connected to each other.
In the center of the passages lies Dimensional Core, keeping the balance between dimensions.

This balance began to collapse when the Core stopped working.
Unless someone gives a helping hand, soon the universe will follow.

The Gate doesn't let anyone into the Dimensional Core.
But Quby, as the last descendant of Chosen Ones, can access the Gate.

To restore the balance between dimensions, Quby opens a portal to the Gate.
With Varon, the talking penguin, she must explore the long-forgotten ruins of her ancestors and find a way to reactivate the Core.
Let the journey begin!

✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's charming art style, adorable protagonist, and genuinely engaging puzzle design that balances challenge with accessibility across difficulty modes. Common complaints include technical issues like occasional input lag and clipping glitches that can affect gameplay, plus some translation quality problems, though these don't significantly detract from the core puzzle-platforming experience that players find rewarding and fun.

Cute game on an amazing discount right now! ($2.99 at current sale price from $14.99) My only complaint about the game is that clearing a level on a hard difficulty doesn't clear it on easier difficulties automatically, Its levels actually do challenge me to think and experiment, despite the cute appearance the puzzles are quite puzzling!

So so so cute, quby is so adorable love her 100% took a bit, but it wasnt too bad if you plan on trying. A couple issues, mainly inputs sometimes not working when you approach an item and the translations arent great. Also some clipping especially when running, I messed up the last level cause of clipping and was devastated. The plot isnt anything crazy, so dont worry about the translations being poor. The puzzles were so much fun running through them all, not too hard not too easy (i played hard mode)

Very cute and fun 3d puzzle platformer. Your goal in each stage is to hit the switch that opens the exit gate and get to it. The puzzle mechanics you have to play with are: -block pushing -opening portals between doors -running through worm holes -creating temporary paths with ink onto water/lava -stepping onto switches, conveyor belts, moving platforms -using golems to maneuver around -dodging crazy penguins -probably a few more There are checkpoints you can manually hit and you can retry from the checkpoints at anytime. Because you choose when to hit the checkpoint, you can try to push more progress before hitting a checkpoint so you have a little less to redo when you reset or fall off the cliff. The later levels have you control two characters for some more intricate puzzles. Each stage also have 4 difficulties. The higher difficulty usually adds an extra element like an extra block or less space or something. Generally, if you know how to solve the puzzle on the lower difficulty, the higher one isn't too much harder. The last difficulty only unlocks after clearing the game. There are roughly a little over 40 stages. Each stage also have 3 fairies scatter…

QV required me to use my brain. Sometimes it required me to use a lot of my brain. Some puzzles required multiple attempts to figure out the proper cascading order of actions. This type of challenge made my brain happy. The game also plays very nicely with a controller and has an excellent soundtrack, too!

I really like the art & the character design, but it's just a very basic puzzle game.

The levels are fun and challenging, but not infuriatingly hard, but there are some levels that have such brutal margin for error it takes a hot minute to clear, and moving diagonally takes a bit to get used to. All in all: Adorable game! Fun puzzles, cute and charming artstyle and interesting mechanics that need getting used to. I love this hidden gem of a game.
