The opening cutscene with the singing dinosaurs is awesome, but the rest of the game is pretty bad. Radical Rex features slippery controls, cluttered levels, and a frustrating camera. It wasn't great on the Super Nintendo, and it isn't great now. If you are nostalgic for this game, it is a pretty good port and does allow you to change the controls, but unless you REALLY loved this game as a kid and have a fondness for it because of that, I say skip it.11 found this helpful

i LOVE this game, the graphics, the gameplay and the music is just perfect in every way imaginable. if i had to choose between this and the land of freedom america i would choose this game everytime1 found this helpful
Warlock kidnaps your girlfriend? Not Radical Pogoing and skateboarding through stomach acid? Radical Good game? Not Radical Putting most of your money into an intro song? Radical must play!
I had very high hopes for this game. i thought it was maybe a lost classic. A great character and an even greater theme song. Good graphics, good story, how could this fail?? Well, it was incredibly disappointing. The god that is Radical Rex would be very disappointed in this atrocity. I would like to buy the rights to this iconic character and would very much like to make a film adaptation. I have the skills and the money, but not the rights. HE DESERVED BETTER THAN A MEDIOCRE SNES GAME!! 3/10
