What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Radiotext draws praise for its distinctive aesthetic, retro atmosphere, and engaging cyberpunk-inspired setting that appeals especially to players nostalgic for early computer culture, though opinions split sharply on the narrative and sound design—some find it immersive while others criticize the story as shallow, characters as generic, and dialogue as unnatural. Technical issues like save file bugs and limited replayability are mentioned, but players who connect with its vibe generally feel it offers good value as a brief, atmospheric experience.
fun game with nice visuals and sound design!!! i got too into radiotexting that i lowk got paranoid i was gonna get jumpscared freddy fazzbear style2 found this helpful
I expected a paranoid, dystopian original story full of conspiracy, but I was greatly disappointed. The game gives off some cyberpunk/cypherpunk vibes, but it is rather boring overall. The setting is all it has to offer. The game is monotonous: the main characters are flat and generic, and the plot is full of clichés and lacks depth. I also didn’t like the sound design: it sounded primitive and annoying, so I quickly turned the sound off. I’m not a native English speaker, but I can say with confidence that the dialogue and the player’s response options felt mostly unnatural and occasionally strange.2 found this helpful
A very fun game with an incredible aesthetic. It is a little buggy, especially when it comes to loading various save files and such, and it isn't very replayable. Still, for ten bucks it's a great way to spend an afternoon.1 found this helpful

I really enjoyed this game. It brought back memories of the early ’90s terminal era, when I used to spend time typing away at a keyboard myself. I feel lucky to have experienced that time, so this game felt especially nostalgic in the best possible way. If I had to make one small complaint, it would be that the storyline could have been a bit longer. Other than that, I really have nothing to criticize. I would definitely recommend this game, and I truly hope we’ll get more DLC, a sequel, or something similar in the future.1 found this helpful
