Raid on the Zone is a tribute to the classic arcade games of the 80’s, featuring retro-inspired top-down 2D graphics in a procedurally generated gameworld. Your helicopter can be equipped with an arsenal of deadly weapons and countermeasures. But The Zone have nastry tricks up their sleeves and devastating weaponry of their own including anti-aircraft guns, missiles, radar jammers, fighter jets, bombers, tanks, and more.
This game isn't easy! So to help you in your assignment, you will be able to buy upgrades which greatly enhances your chances of success!

- Attack and destroy facilities on land to slow The Zone’s ability to construct their deadly super weapon
- Destroy runways to prevent enemy planes from entering the fight
- Take out enemy boats in the sea to prevent them from targeting and attacking your aircraft carrier, your hub for rearming and repairs
- Protect civilians from both enemy and friendly fire
- Put a final end to The Zone by finding and destroying their super weapon factory

I started gaming back in the early 80's on a Commodore 64, this is the spiritual successor to a game that my friends and I played to death back then. Only had a couple of hours to play tonight, but really enjoyed it. Would love to see more classics get some attention like this.12 found this helpful
Been playing this a couple of times now, and I'm very fond of it being so close to the original Raid on Bungeling Bay, even though it has been enhanced with more intelligent AI, which also makes it a bigger challenge. I haven't beaten it yet, but I'm going to! Lots of good gameplay and replayability. Recommending this for everyone who likes to shoot stuff and have fun!9 found this helpful
A fun little top-down shooter. A bit like an arcade version of Jungle Strike (or any 90s raid game). There's only one mission to play but it's challenging and there are random maps. Action-packed fun. If you're a fan of the oldschool "helicopter strike" shooters from the 90s, check out Raid on the Zone. Could do with more missions to add replayability but it's a couple of hours of arcade shooty fun as-is. I really enjoyed this game as it resembles the old Raid on Bungeling Bay, which I have enjyoed a lot as a kid. The game is hard but loads of fun! :) Highly recommended for anyone with a trigger finger.2 found this helpful
