About Gun to the Zone
Gun to the Zone is a fast paced top down shooter that calls back to simpler times. You'll have random loot, awesome runs and plenty of action, but if you only have time to play for 10 minutes, that is okay too!
The game takes place in an alternate reality where a great calamity has created something the people call "the Zone".
There are rumors about strange artifacts that are supposed to exist inside. Only the bravest make it to the center.

- Shoot, reload, dodge and use special attacks
- Find powerful guns - they're different each run
- Fight monsters, beat mighty bosses and discover artifacts
- Earn coins and buy buffs in between runs

There's a lot of indie top down zombie shooters out there. Happy to say this is one that's got some charm, and some meat to it. Permanent character upgrades to unlock, horde modes/maps, campaign, 4 different characters ( I don't think it affects gameplay though, but it's nice to get a choice of who to play as). Nice pixel graphics, an aim down sights mechanic (which I enjoy), dodge mechanic (excellent for these kinds of games), helper drone (that can be turned off if you want), 2 ultimate abilities you can charge up and use, several different weapons. Weapons feel good to use with nice sfx, pixel blood, and some exploding enemies - makes for an enjoyable and visceral combat experience. Small levels/sections but unique and interesting locations. Fairly decent amount of enemy variety, IMO, and I probably haven't seen everything yet. This game offers a fuller experience than a simple one (or a handful) of horde mode maps to play on. Totally worth price on sale. I'll also say its similar to or reminds me of Bit Gun - so if you've played that game try this game, too (or vice versa).4 found this helpful
