Rail Gunner is a free to play shooter game where you are riding on a moving rail car and shooting everything chasing it. Try this game, you might like it.
I would recommend it except it's not really a free game. Once you get past a certain point the game expects you to purchase a $5.99 "DLC" that's both ridiculously overpriced and dishonest considering this is listed under free to play with no in app purchases. I wouldn't even mind if it was just labeled as a demo, but it's not really worth $6 and probably violates Steam's terms of service as well.
peak. just peak. I don't even have anything to say, its just peak. (even as i die)
It's a very fun and simple game with interesting enemies that seem to be moving after being trained with machine learning and they break into chunks when the parts of their bodies take damage. I would love seeing more games using this kind of enemy (Arc Riders does it as well) The free version has a lot of content! The only negative thing I can say is, there's some "zoom in" effect that makes it actually harder to hit things, I would love disabling it, because sometimes drones or other enemies can't be aimed at or remain hidden too long due to this effect. Also aming with both weapons at the same target is much harder because of this. For the pointers, I think it would be better if they used a raycast to detect the impact location in the terrain and enemies as opposed to just having a fixed distance, it would make aiming much better.
damn. this game looks a lot more fun in vr
