Rainbow Dreams is a pleasant game, to say at least. The very bright points of the game is without a doubt art style for a western novel it is charming along with girls expressions. Writing style is on point and keeps with the overall flow as well. What is not keeping flow in this would be a story, mostly chaotic and not properly introduced, No voice acting either. Game contains few decisions but they were rather rare. We have this conflict between gods and humans with characters suddenly appearing with few brief explanations. Also our MC is a deamon hunter, but how? I cannot say it doesn't surprise but the combat effect. Sounds for example guns could be redone, text box. These are minor problems though. I advice taking a look, for a western novel it is nice. We have a cute art + good h-scenes. Without mosaics!11 found this helpful
This game is really rough around the edges: the English writing is clunky, typos are plenty even 4 months after the release, some scenes are questionable at best, both the humouristic and violent ones. Some side characters and plot threads are so irrelevant that it's hard to say why they're even there. Choices also are absolutely pointless, not even giving an illusion that you're influencing the story. The conclusion of the story is really vague, outside of the main couple being together. On the other hand, the core ideas behind the story and the few characters that matter are pretty fun. It's a very straightforward power fantasy with romance and unlike this studio's previous game, Episicava, it's not overly edgy and avoids unnecessary contrivance. There's relatively little tension, the protagonist gradually becoming a literal God, but the beautiful art and lighthearted banter between him and the heroine, Myra, make for some relaxing, mindless fun. There are also two relatively competent h-scenes that show up in reasonable moments and add to the romance subplot. The soundtrack is pretty upbeat, underlining the lighter tone of the game, but it also features some more intense tunes …8 found this helpful

Game Length: 2-4 Hours Story: The cast was pretty wholesome but the dialogue was a bit funky. A bit heavy on the chitter chatter maybe but not bad Gameplay: Visual Novel CG: Patch Required.2 found this helpful
First, let me start with the positives. The art is charming for the most part and there are some actually fun parts in there. Some other scenes can even be emotional at times. Not to the negatives. Honestly, I feel tired after playing through it. I had several times when I was just so bored playing it that I had to step away for hours at a time. The writing style is just no good. It's sometimes too wordy and other times just out of place. I could write an essay on how many writing mistakes there are in Rainbow Dreams. First, let me start with the positives.
