Rayadium

"Rayadium" is one of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and reducing the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one is particularly generic and mediocre, some lame theme about time traveling miners doesn't add anything to the totally lacklustre platforming experience. Super Mario Brothers, this is not. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. This game was a ton of fun, I highly recommend it if you are wanting to have a fun and relaxing time.

Good game wish you could warp to checkpoints to get bonus stuff because I don't want to play through levels again!

Inconsistent movement and frustrating controls. I got soft locked on last level right before the ending... I was not going through the level again. It at least works with Steam Deck, just need to change controls to mouse+keyboard, as well as rebind 1 or 2 keys.

I played enought of this game an honestly it looks fun and easy but its so annoying its hard to control and i got a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ headache from playing this i tried having fun but i didnt, i got more stress, but i recomend if you want to break or punch someone

Took me a bit over an hour to go through all the layers, good game tbh. The movement occasionally feels a bit sketchy and some bugs might have you soft-locked but otherwise it's good. Also the UI breaks apart entirely if your screen isn't 16:9.
