redroom is a fast-paced one-versus-one fighting game where a single hit means death. Maneuver around your opponent using dashes, slams, and wall jumps in order to hit them before they can hit you.
- Use snappy movement abilities to outmaneuver your opponent.
- Duel on over 30 different procedural map arrangements.
- Play a variable amount of rounds or until one person gets too far ahead.

This game cannot be played as intended.[/quote] This seems like a game jam game or something... it doesn't come across as sincerely made, more of an experiment, and experiments are meant to die, not pollute Steam Direct. The idea is that the developer thought gamers only wanted 1v1 PvP, and they wanted only one weapon, and stupidly low TTK. The developer was wrong. Not satisfied with just being completely wrong, they went further and thought gamers like to use a text console to configure the game. It just keeps getting worse, and I am wondering if the point of this product was simply to insult gamers and the gaming industry. So, "redroom" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP cent…1 found this helpful
needs more updates and players but seems goated

[h1] SUCH AN UNDER RATED GAME [/h1] This game is a great quick arena shooter, only 2 colours and a goal (and wacko command line) The games are quick and dirty but really fun. The movement is quick but at times a little clunky. There are only a select number of maps, would be nice If more were added. The fact there is actual music in the menu but not in game is really werid, in game you only hear a strange ominous drone. could greatly benefit from having the music in game. One huge draw back is the command line menu. I think having a button to have just a simple menu if you dont want the typing menu could be a nice addition to keep new players in. And one final thing, not making lobbys close after a game finishes, becuase having to re make and join a lobby can be annoying, 8/10 (needs more players and some QoL)
i mean i wish there was a bit more in the game but i did have some fun and its free so
I wish I could play it, tutorial showed a really well made game... shame people immediately leave whenever they see a console
