RetroMania Wrestling

If you like Wrestling and old school vibes this game is for you! I LOVE the mix of LEGENDARY & Up and Coming stars! Some i would like to see is: The GodFather/Papa Shango, Eddie Guerrero, JCW (Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope), Luchadores: (Mistico, Templario, Máscara Sagrada) A collab with Nacho Libre would be very cool (Nacho, Esqueleto, Ramses). Also would like to see Create a Wrestler/Arena mode and maybe more weapons to use. I recommend Visual Assist ON and you will learn from there. Would be cool if they gave a lil more in depth tutorial tho

This is ok but very limited roster only about 25 wrestlers and from what I can tell no option to add more from like the steam work shop. no option to run your own promotion. you can do a tournament battle royal and some other things but can get boring after a while. Would be nice if you could add a large roster and play for seasons. The only game that seems to do that very well and offer a long time play value is fire pro wrestling world.

A great game! Just the right amount of nostalgia and simplistic enjoyment!

WWF Wrestlefest is probably the most fun, pick up and play wrestling video game ever created. You put a quarter in, start pressing buttons, and you start doing things that make sense. RetroMania Wrestling obviously takes a lot of inspiration from that game, but the core game engine isn't the fun, intuitive, pick up and play system of Wrestlefest. It's based off the timing driven Fire Pro Wrestling engine. Which I hate. I never know what the game wants me to do. Mercilessly, this game has an option to turn on indicators that tell you exactly why you are losing every single grapple, and that helps, but it also exposes what I had been suspecting after struggling with games like this for a long time which is a large number of lock ups are just randomly awarded to your opponent regardless of how good your timing was. I hate that. It makes a confusing, obtuse system even more confusing and obtuse. This never ends up being the fun and experimental experience I want it to be. I never have the time or space to think ahead and try to uncover new techniques because I am always straining to survive the next 5 seconds. This one just isn't for me.

It was fun for the first 4 hours apparently, and I got most of the way through the story. A bit hard to control at times but it was still fun. Now, when I come back, the controls don't seem to work. Grappling seems completely random and I can't even get past the tutorial.

It's a pretty okay retro arcade style wrestling game.
