You get to explore a free roam environment and can enjoy the story at your own pace, there is day and night cycles and the island and its inhabitants feel natural. As you play through you'll get to explore a tropical island on foot or in vehicle, completing side quests as you uncover the plot. Overall a well made game which my younger brother enjoyed. Great soundtrack!

"Rocket Island" is a rather weird Unity asset flip, the developer tried to use a collection of other people's assets to get paid, but this time in the somewhat genuine looking format of an educational casual game about collecting stuff to launch a rocket. Doesn't change the fact that it's an asset flip though even if they did repent and make the game "free". The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $10 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game…

Awesome game. Good graphics and funding are hard to come by with educational games but compared to others this is great. Few things need updating and look forward to those happening in the future and as the game progresses. Recommend this for teenages kids.
