Room In Dream

This is a dreamy game for relaxation and creative design. The visuals, sound effects, and music are all of high quality and generate a nice atmosphere. The sound effects in particular can be turned on and off and the rain and nature sounds provide a soothing ambiance. The visuals are cozy and colorful with soft colors and an appealing use of light and shadow. The gameplay is all about creatively designing rooms by choosing freely from a catalog of items. I like that you don't have to unlock items, they are just there and ready to sift through and place. Most items layer quite well so you can place small decorations on shelves or countertops for example. Pillows can be placed on beds and furniture can be arranged at different angles with quite intuitive controls. Everything can be coordinated to create a cozy "lived in" feeling. Most notable is how fast time in real life can pass while playing this game. I was always surprised after finishing a room at how much more relaxed I felt and how 20 or 30 minutes would seem to have passed in a flash. Super cute, calm and cozy game you can relax and enjoy - the sounds of the rainfall and crickets mixed with the music is beautiful. Great game to light a candle and curl up to play, I'm looking forward to watching this grow since I'm playing in Early Access :) This game is already beautiful and adorable, though do hope to see a workshop added for custom items one day ♥ 10/10 If you like decoration games, this is a need ♥

I like to jump into this for a few minutes at a time after work or if I am stressed. The ambiance and sound of placing items are just so relaxing. The soft colors and the way the items appear make them appear gentle. It's a great game to spend 15-20-minute sessions to relax. There are multple houses that you decorate. Even in EA it has plenty of options for you to choose. I found it very easy to spend 20 minutes just rearranging my room. It's a game that makes you feel better after playing it. I would recommend.

I had so much fun playing this peaceful game and customizing different rooms. This is my new go to when I'm feeling a little anxious and need something calmer to play. :)
