Explore the kingdom of Silverdale in this innovative new match-3 adventure that pairs the classic matching with exploration and discovery, item collection, quests, town building, and more! Traverse HUGE environments, collect resources, overcome obstacles, and upgrade the town of Rivermoor.
Runefall is unlike any match-3 you've played. With every match you make, the camera moves in the direction of your match, allowing you to travel in all directions and explore the massive levels. Match over sand, grass, and dirt tiles to clear them and discover hidden items like keys to unlock treasure chests, unique quest items, or items to help you get past environmental obstacles like rivers, cliffs, and overgrown vines. Match shield pieces to fill your jump meter and use the mini-map to immediately jump to anywhere in the environment. Match gold, wood, and stone pieces to collect those resources and use them to upgrade the town of Rivermoor. Every town upgrade rewards you with bonuses like new power-ups and abilities.
Meet all the townsfolk of Rivermoor who have stories to tell, like Hadrick, Winifred, and Caius. Take quests from them and help them gather the needed materials for their monthly tribute to send to the king.

One endurance achievement, for which is it better to remain longer in levels than going to other levels, after all the other achievements have been unlocked. Otherwise, it is good for a match 3 game.4 found this helpful
The game is bugged and keeps crashing on me to where I can no longer advance. On top of that, you can't save mid-game and some levels are an hour+ long if you're trying to complete the whole map. It was fun in the beginning, but quickly got tedious and frustrating, especially with the crashes.1 found this helpful
Chill, great music, good matching and minigames. Story's alright too. Levels do often feel a bit long, but from a casual player's perspective this was a very chill way to start the day.

There are so many of these clones. If you want a VERY casual match3 game, here ya go.
Had this somewhere else, too; can't remember where. It's an engaging match-3 with charming graphics and writing that made me laugh out loud more than once. I'd love to have the Rivermoor folks as actual neighbors, for all the mayhem they seem to find. X'D
