Use your space fighter (S.F.77) to destroy enemy spaceships and collect energy to buy upgrades. You could buy speed, homing missile, shields, etc. Doing so will make it easier for your S.F.77 to progress though enemy waves. Beware however of bosses and enemy flagships. These special space ships hove strong shields and could be destroyed by only attacking specific weak points in their design. The more waves you manage to destroy the more achievements are unlocked, and the more variety of enemies and attack formation starting to appear. So try to reach the enemy base and destroy it.

S.F.77 is a 2D retro pixel bullet hell/shoot 'em up Galaga ripoff. There's a number of powerups, but gameplay is very basic Galaga kind of stuff. On the upside, the game does work for the most part, and it even displays properly in 16:9 aspect ratio. It's fairly buggy and the control scheme is a mess. A choice was made to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution is locked and can't be changed, and there's no visual or graphics tweaks, so there's no way to improve the very lazy, mediocre visuals. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunate…2 found this helpful
a game has to do some deliberately stupid stuff to get a bad review. like counterproductive manipulative asinine stuff. the stuff here is just, whatever. at least there are upgrades. if you want to put yourself through it, rock n roll2 found this helpful
