About Sanguine Melancholia
Centuries have passed after an invasion by demonic entities, and humanity is on the brink of extinction. A young detective miraculously survives a train crash, and finds himself falsely accused of being a member of the rebel group Maelstrom. As things grow more and more chaotic, and more and more people are met, Adrien's view of the world is changed significantly. Despite this, not once does he lose sight of his destination.
With no train to take him, he sets out on foot for the beautiful mountain called Candlelight Tor, refusing to tell anyone why he's going. By his side is a young man who is essentially his polar opposite...and yet neither traveller wishes to leave the other's side.

Seems alright. Kind of wish the "world box" had an explanation, it feels immersion breaking to be thrown into it, but I guess it's not supposed to be part of the game. Also this might be a yaoi game, guess I'd have to keep playing to find out.1 found this helpful
RPG Maker strikes again! "Sanguine Melancholia" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This RPG Maker asset flip is more e-book than game, with quite a lot of absolutely garbage high school anime club dropout fan-fiction writing about demons or some other trash... so somehow the "developer" of this garbage found a way to make RPG Maker asset flips even worse. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development.
