✦ AI summary

Players enjoy the roguelike progression system with engaging perks and the addictive "one more run" loop, praising the concept and graphics. However, the game is plagued by collision detection and geometry issues that cause the car to get stuck on obstacles, killing momentum and making some obstacle patterns feel unavoidable, while the lack of braking mechanics and occasional audio annoyances frustrate some players.

Oof. Needs more time in the oven. This is supposed to be a racing game about smooth (and uncontrollable) speed while dodging obstacles, and yet I am constantly getting hung up on the track. At best it is jarring and annoying, but often it means the dodge path you're trying to take suddenly stops you for a half second and the path you're trying to slip through closes off with an obstacle, or you find yourself slowly creeping along the edge of a ramp, unable to either pull back up onto the track above or fall to the track below. The game has, and DEFINITELY NEEDS, an unstuck button. Unstuck button, on a racing game. Yeah. Track layouts also need work. It often feels like there is no possible option to avoid damage, as obstacle gates sometimes fully close, and since you cannot control your speed there's no way to hurry through before it closes or slow down until it opens again, so unless you have both an active off cooldown and the mana to use it, you're going to be facetanking. Meta rougelite progression is 100% random, based solely on the car parts you find rather than a selectable skill tree. Not gonna refund because I got on 65% sale and it's been worth the $5. But I can't rec…

racing game where instead of racing, you get stuck on map geometry and lose all momentum. this is unintended but necessary because there isn't any way of braking. stay away

Not bad for a roguelike junkpunk racing game in Early Access. Small thoughts: 1. Maybe allow for rear-engine setups in future? 2. Multiplayer, and maybe team races etc. 3. A Cops and Robbers mode of sorts.

Really funny game. You‘re drivibg in several habitats on prodedural designed tracks. Every run gives you XP and for every level-up you get a perk which either makes a run easier with less XP or harder with more XP. Also you can fibd several parts for your car increasing the durabality and/or giving buffs. I have this „just one more run“ feeling and I think, that it is what roguelites should be all about, so no critic here. Also controls and graphics are fine. Negative is the misic which isn‘t bad but could get annoying over time. So I listen to my playlist and turn it off as in most racers. Also some parts as hit boxes are a little laggy sometimes but it is still in EA. Unfortunately there is nobsplitscreen MP. I hope for it on a sequel. I recommend buying Schrott as you will have a lot of fun for your bucks.

Love this game. really addictive. I think I crashed my rig 30 times before I made it to level 3. But still couldn't stop playing. Use the perks in a clever way, build your rig and try to learn the different obstacle-types! Looking forward to the next maps and the full-release <3
