Sea Chronicles

this was still fun and enjoyable, but i personally think toilet chronicles was better. looking forward to the next game tho :D

It’s a good game overall and I had some fun with it, but it can get pretty boring after a while. There are some cool ideas and enjoyable moments, but parts of the game feel slow and repetitive. I wouldn’t say it’s bad at all, just not something I could play for long periods of time.

I would honestly say I liked the Toilet Chronicles more than this one, the stiffness in animation and interaction is a lot more noticeable in this game. The jokes are kind cute and gave me a slight [i[scoff chuckle,[/i] but they are little clunky and can feel more like a slog. Such as the gag with every note in a bottle you find unable to slide out of the bottle, so you watch about a 12 second animation of your character throwing it on the ground. There are some decent puzzle elements to this, not very complicated but they are there. It is a fairly short game and the achievements aren't too terrible to find. This does for, [i]some reason,[/i] cost ten dollars like the toilet chronicles and there simply isn't enough to content to justify that price. Still, I got it on sale and it wasn't too bad of one. I do see the charm and love that is in this game, past the slow moving nature of the game. Keep making games, you do really have some clever ideas, I would really love to see the execution of these ideas get a bit more visual polish and enjoyable pacing.
