"Save the Pirate: Sea Story" is a non-free "I can't believe it's not a mobile app" 2D puzzle/narrative game where you follow the story of a pirate and make simple choices to solve puzzles. What do you do in the game? You're presented with a scenario and given a couple of buttons on your iPhone screen to tap. Make the right choices to continue watching the cartoon. This might as well have been an Adobe Flash/browser app. It's hard to describe this as a game at all, and definitely not what you think about when you think about what qualifies as a PC game. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as you're expected to pay up $14 USD to unlock content/DLC, the game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. it's a simple and cute game, but I'm giving a thumbs down due to it losing all progress every time it reloads and not giving achievements that I know I completed... therefore making it garbage also it's fairly dark and has no brightness adjustment
