Secret Seeker

Completed the game with 26% achievements. A cool horror game where you shoot object to proceed to the next level. Alot of cool levels like viking shore, haunted houses and deep dark dungeons. A fun game to solve mysteries and shoot props down!

If ur into findin certain objects in a roguelike setting with creepy vibes then this is the game for ya. The game revolves around cards that represent the levels and you get to choose abilities etc for each run. Graphically the game is solid. It also features voiceovers (possibly AI) which I don't mind. I'm generally not a fan of AI; I'm personally a developer, and I refuse to use it in my work. For better or for worse, this game adds proof to the fact that AI is unneeded in game development. Despite its usage, the game is full of typos, the speech has bizarre mispronunciations, and the music remains completely forgettable. All of these things - every single one - would be forgivable if done by a person; in fact, they would add to the charm of the game. Hell, Microsoft Sam would be a more welcome voice. Mind you, despite the AI being used, supposedly, to speed up the process, it still feels more like a prototype than a finished game. It'd be trivial to find 100 other hidden object games that are both higher quality and made by humans.

S.S. is a game about discovering...secrets. Scattered across the many levels available are objects that need to be found. Some are easy to spot, others require a near hawk sight and a Sherlock Holmes level of attention to detail that test your might. There's also a bit of shooting but, in my opinion that is not the best part about the hame, but, the huge amount of levels and objects to find. Great game, Good Horror, and Cool environments! I like the idea of the Roguelite perks as you push further through the levels. It took some time and fails to look for the mission items i needed to finish the mission, but just with enough patience and continuation it gets easier knowing where to look. But, also with the perks.. With good RNG, it helps make it so much easier to get through the levels if your havin trouble finding what you need! I appreciate this incredible game experience and looking forward more from you guys!
