I've been playing ShootMania for a while now, and I have to say, I’m absolutely excited about the Speedball mode! The fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping action is unlike anything else. But what really sets this mode apart is the amazing community that surrounds it. It's such a refreshing experience to be part of a group of players who are all about having fun and supporting each other. Whether it's high-fives after a great match or helping each other out with tips and strategies, the vibe here is so positive and welcoming. Speedball is intense, but with every game, I feel more connected to this little corner of the gaming world. I’ve made friends here, and the camaraderie is truly heartwarming. The competitive spirit is alive and well, but there’s this perfect balance of fun, cooperation, and pure excitement. I can’t wait to jump into another match and experience the thrill of Speedball all over again. If you’re looking for a game that’s fast, exciting, and filled with friendly faces, ShootMania and its Speedball mode are where you want to be. I deeply hate that game Every mechanics feel overly complicated, the movement are chaotic and feel like artificial difficulty and not just a mechanic ceiling and there isn't at all satisfying to play. It's a movement shooter where you never feel like you're in control with your movements (unless you have 500hrs probably) On top of that, the rocket gunplay is horrendus and does not match at all the fast paced action going on in the game. ppl might say "but this is the point of the game" and to that I awnser I do not have 100hrs in the game and do not have the patience to do so And final bonus point : I've never seen such a mess of a menu.
I could not play a single session, as this game seems to have almost no players, but most player who have played it seem to have enjoyed their time.
This game was great in the beta, got top NA. It is a shame this type of game didn't become popular after the beta. The actual game was pretty unique with the mad rush to claim the pole, hoping you don't get an early respawn. While the second phase the storm appears and shrinks to the center of the map, no escape.
