Sisyphus's Worst Day (again)

Another free game that is just a cute little proof of concept type of game. I like the humour, the puzzles weren't too difficult, and the background artwork was a real treat. Not much that can be said because its a really short game. However, I suggest playing it with company, as the humour is worth sharing with others.

IDK, I'd have given this a B. Graphically it's fine, just being able to rotate the camera is slightly impressive, but you never needed to as a puzzle solution so it was kind of a waste. The traps resetting their facing whenever you wanted to move them was a tad annoying, as was the one softlock I encountered when the game would count the boulder as out of play and fail the level even when there was a respawn panel. And I know it was a bug because I restarted and used the same exact solution and it worked the second time. And that final level... leaves a lot to be desired as the "end" of the game. I just think it goes beyond needing a little polish to needing to be completed before handing in and publishing. But it's a free Uni project, so I can't really say I don't recommend it at that price. Just that it's not A grade work.

Definitely a good game, especially for the price point, but I did come away at the end wishing there was more, which isn't really a strike against the game.

How can this game be free? Sure, it could use a bit more polish. It's not very long, there are a few bugs, and the dialogue can get repetitive. That said, it has a genuinely great concept, clever puzzle design, and a lot of charm. You can really feel the love and effort that went into making it. The puzzles are challenging without being frustrating, and several levels can be solved in multiple ways, which adds a nice layer of creativity and replayability. Overall, it's a very enjoyable experience and an easy recommendation, especially considering it's completely free.

That game basically satisfied me when I see Sisyphus falling into my well-designed trap. The idea of making a trap loop perfectly fits that myth. The UI design was also interesting as I can see the Zoom settings when having meetings with Zeus. Definitely worth a try to figure out your own version of traps.
