At last. I've been waiting for a game to come out for years that lets me feel the same 'lizard-brain dragon go pew pew' as Drakengard 1 has back in the day. Looking forward to its future updates!

Skyfear is a lovely early access game that has a big future ahead of itself. If things go right, I can imagine it can be great success. It certainly wont be a competitor to Century, but that is also clearly not what its aiming to be. Gameplay is quick, precise, and fun. You get shot down fast, but you hop right into the fray at the same rate, making it particularly rewarding when you have a good streak of kills. The biggest plus I'd say is that the dev for the game has an incredibly healthy and refreshing vision on what they want to achieve with the game, how it is meant to look, and is very reasonable about compromising popular aspects in game dev (i.e hyperrealistic graphics) to focus on gameplay instead. The game does not look terrible at all and performs great. I highly recommend supporting it!

It's good for an EA game, but it needs some major optimisation, some animation reworks, more abilities and perks, and more cosmetics to grind for. Aside from that ill rate a 7/10 for now.

It's definitely Early Access. Even at $15, I'd wait until they flush things out a bit. Skyfear needs to learn a lot from Century Age Of Ashes (CAOA) in terms of aerial combat. The whole game feels so lifeless. Protoria Studios, please don't do the whole season pass skin thing like CAOA, just give this game some life.
